Having lived and worked all over the US and abroad, it's difficult to summarize my experiences. Suffice it to say, I have tried many things, succeeded at some. At the moment I am focusing on writing and working to see my works traditionally published.

One of the most successful efforts has been participating in critique groups and leading a writers workshop for the past several years. I have learned more in these sessions than I ever did in college classes. The biggest bonus is the friends I have made.

Networking at conferences has also helped my understanding of the publishing business, as much as one can understand it in these changing times.

Four of my books have been traditionally published and I'm looking forward to two more being released in February of 2015. They are Silent Autumn and Safari Stew - Blenders Book III. I have also self-published one book, mainly to gain the experience of how it is done and to see what happens with it once it is floating around in the cloud waiting to land in a reader's hands.

I also am still operating my murder mystery company for special events and benefits only. In 2013 we did no Gifts, Please and Death in Bogart's Shadow, raising money for the Flagler County Kiwanis Clubs. WE shall present An Evening with the Swami, Sindra Ramaswamy in the fall of 2014 and will perform the original non-musical version of Murder in Morocco in April of 2015.

Outstanding Achievement Awards

from the Theater Association of New York State.

A musical murder mystery set in 1937 Tangier

Every production of the musical sold out.

Presented May 2004 at The Ilion Little Theater, Ilion, NY

Musical Direction by Dave Stritmater

Musical Direction by Maestro Timothy Turner

The play, written by Veronica H. Hart as an interactive murder mystery, was converted to a legitimate stage production in 1994. In 2002, her husband suggested it would make a great musical so for two years she worked with Dave Stritmater and Carolyn Newbold, who wrote the musical score, and Margaret Z. Becker, who helped fit her lyrics into the proper rhythm and cadence for the music.  Once produced, it was adjudicated by the New York State Theater Association and presented with Outstanding Achievement Awards for Original Book, Original Score, Original Lyrics, Costumes, Set and Set Dressing.
